Temple has been promoted to golf course superintendent for Gulf States Paper
Corporation’s NorthRiver Yacht
Club.
Born
in Laurel, Miss., he graduated from South Jones High School in Ellisville,
Miss., and holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from Mississippi
State University. He is a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association
of America and the Alabama Golf Course Superintendent Association.
Previously, Temple served as assistant golf course superintendent for NorthRiver Yacht Club. He is married to the former Metta Byrd of Ocean Springs, Miss., and has two sons, Blake and Chase. He is a member of Lakewood Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon.
