The Experience at FarmLinks

FarmLinks Golf Club is the world’s first research and demonstration golf course. Designed by Hurdzan-Fry Golf Design of Columbus, Ohio and built by Landscapes Unlimited Inc. of Lincoln, Neb., this 18-hole course is truly unique. Forming a coalition of the golf industry’s top players—Pursell Technologies Inc., The Toro Company, Syngenta and Club Car, Inc., among others—its purpose is to showcase industry innovation and product demonstration. FarmLinks Golf Club is owned by the Pursell Family of Sylacauga, AL and is located on Pursell Farms, a 3,500-acre living laboratory providing world class education in an incomparable recreational environment.

Each year, Pursell Technologies invites and hosts more than 1,000 golf course superintendents, professional nurserymen and others in the turf and horticulture industries to the Experience at FarmLinks. During this two night, three day stay, guests enjoy the best hospitality the South has to offer, well deserved rest and relaxation, and first rate education. While enjoying 18-holes of golf, guests also witness Pursell Technologies and Syngenta product research plots and the most current, and some yet-to-be-released, maintenance and hospitality equipment Toro and Club Car have to offer. In addition, programs in fertility, irrigation and maintenance equipment, and plant protection challenge professional perceptions and enlighten attendees to new innovations, all while earning continuing education units from the GCSAA.
